We were telling you about the first steps taken by the Foundation<\/a> as part of the Covid 19<\/strong> which began to hit Ethiopia 1 month ago. In addition to the health crisis, there is also an agricultural crisis with the locust invasion<\/a> which is causing considerable damage to the country's crops. This complex and highly problematic situation has led to a high risk of famine throughout the country, particularly in remote areas such as Sona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 14, at the suggestion of its country representative<\/em> Mihret Mitiku, the Board of the Foundation decided to release an emergency budget to provide a food aid to the poorest families in Sona<\/strong>. After consultation with local authorities, 75 families were identified as being in critical need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the rainy season (May to September) approaches, it has been decided to provide these 75 families with the following foodstuffs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
