It is a FIFAD tradition to devote an afternoon to the situation of mountain farmers. Climbers meet them on their way up without seeing them. And yet their situation is sometimes very worrying. Eric Collet and Herv\u00e9 Doulat met while trekking in these mountains. They fell in love with this region of some 10,000 inhabitants who live from agriculture in extreme poverty and difficult climatic conditions.<\/p>\n
