We are delighted to announce that the evening is sold out. Thank you to everyone who signed up for your support! The first Gala evening organised with the help of the prestigious Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS)<\/a><\/strong> in December 2019 was a resounding success. There's no doubt that without the COVID epidemic, the second edition would have arrived sooner! So we are delighted to announce that a new Gala evening is planned for Saturday 13 January 2024<\/strong> at the Ch\u00e2teau de Caux in Montreux. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS)<\/a><\/strong> and its teaching staff, who enable us to organise this type of operation at no cost, since these evenings are organised as teaching modules for the students! The school also allows us to use the exceptional setting of the Ch\u00e2teau de Caux to combine the pleasure of a high-flying gala evening with a charity event, with 100% of the proceeds going towards our Ethiopian projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exceptional evening will be an opportunity to support the creation and development of educational infrastructure to provide access to quality education for the children of Amhara in Ethiopia. We have planned a captivating programme, enriching encounters and an unforgettable gastronomic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Palace de Caux can be reached by car, although it is steep. In case of snow or just for fun, you can take the cogwheel train to the Roches de Nays from Montreux station. The timetable will be given to you when you register. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Festivities programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The gala dinner is being organised in the purest palace tradition. It will naturally open with a vin d'honneur before moving on to a full dinner, prepared and served by SHMS students and their teachers. The evening will include a number of activities, including a lottery offering you the chance to win some magnificent prizes and show your support for our Foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be showing a preview of the film tracing the history of the Foundation from 2015 to the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening will begin with a vin d'honneur, followed by a gala meal prepared and served by SHMS students and their teachers. There will be musical and dance entertainment throughout the evening, as well as a raffle. Be generous, because all the funds raised will go to the Foundation and its projects!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets cost CHF 100.00 each or CHF 500.00 for a table of 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All costs for the evening will be covered by the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS)<\/a><\/strong>All proceeds will go back to the Foundation. Many thanks to the SHMS team for this incredible opportunity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose of the collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The money raised during the gala evening will be used to finance the projects of the 2023 \/ 2024 campaign, in particular the construction of a block of 4 classrooms for the 1,400 pupils of the Chirolaba secondary school, where the sponsored children from Sona go to continue their studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
