1628films is the Foundation's audiovisual production partner. 1628films is a video production company based in the Grenoble region. Hervé Doulat, its manager, is co-founder of Children in the Cloud with Eric Collet, whom he met during a shoot for Allibert Trekking. Indeed, Eric and Hervé met during a Trek in the Simien. Both fell in love with Ethiopia and were sensitive to the immense needs of the local population.
Eric is retired from Nestlé and Hervé runs an audiovisual production company.
Communication with 1628films
Communication, particularly for fundraising and reporting to donors, is of paramount importance. In this respect, 1628films' role as a partner and producer of photo and video content is crucial. Quality images help to highlight the actions of Children in the Cloud and to raise awareness among the general public. Many videos have been produced, mainly for social networks but also for television. This is the case of the video reporting on our last trip in January 2021.
TV commercials
Thanks to Goldbach Media Switzerland (thank you Angelica!), 1628films produced TV commercials that were broadcast free of charge on foreign French and German channels in Switzerland. A great opportunity to raise the Foundation's profile!
