What a pleasure to be able to present, through our film, the Simien, its inhabitants and the project Children in the Cloud ! The 2 halls of the Festival were packed with some 800 spectators. Under the masterly leadership of Jean-Philippe RappIn the afternoon, we contributed to an afternoon dedicated to the mountain peasantry all over the world through the projection of 3 films. The debates and exchanges were of great interest to all, highlighting the harsh conditions of mountain farmers. Many spectators discovered the way of life of Ethiopians living in the high altitude of Simien and were made aware of their fate. Let's hope that this sensitivity will translate into support for the Foundation! We leave optimistic and motivated as never before from these beautiful meetings!
