Last Saturday, December 7, our evening of Charity Gala at the Palace de Caux, at the invitation of the prestigious Montreux hotel school SHMS. 150 guests attended and were able to celebrate with us 4 years of work in the service of the children and families of Simiens, including the recent inauguration of the buildings of tranche 1.

In his address, the President Eric Collet looked back over the period 2015-2019, from the first steps in Ethiopia to the inauguration of the first classrooms. His speech was supported by a video retracing the key stages in the history of the Foundation and the construction of the school, which you can watch here.

The SHMS students did a great job, punctuating a delicious meal with a series of very successful African-themed animations. Their work and that of their teachers is to be commended and thanked from the bottom of our hearts for their invaluable contribution to the success of the Children in the Cloud project! A special thank you to the teacher in charge of the fundraising event, Mr Nektarios Lycopantis ! Let us also thank for their presence and support the Municipalities of Montreux Jaqueline Pellet, Jean Pierre Piemontesi. Ms. Pellet, In her speech, she reiterated the town's support, which she said was set to increase.
Finally, in terms of financial spin-offs, more than CHF 22,000 was raised for the event, adding to the convivial success the financial success that is so important for the continuation of the Foundation's work. So a big thank you to all our donors!
