Olivia Aubort, benefactor of... 11 years!

There are stories that give you renewed energy and confidence to carry out a project such as that of our Foundation, and more generally that restore your faith in humanity. Such is the case with the story ofOlivia AubortThe young 11-year-old from Montreux has an extraordinary capacity for initiative and willingness to help.

Olivia attends the painting workshop run by Christine Collet, founder and treasurer of the Children in the Cloud Foundation. And it was during her painting lessons that Olivia learned of the Foundation's existence and plans. She was very interested and, without telling her teacher-painter, was determined to take action.

So it was that a few weeks later, on a Sunday evening, Christine and Eric heard their front doorbell ring. What a surprise to receive a visit from Olivia and her mum at such an unusual time! Olivia handed them an envelope containing CHF 100, the proceeds of the selling his old toys on a flea market ! It was a very moving and impressive moment. An 11-year-old child capable of organising herself and acting in this way, and with the consent of her parents, to help other children!

Olivia didn't stop there and repeated the same type of action on 2 occasions, raising a total of some CHF 350 which was donated to the Foundation to build the Sona school. She also took part in the Clarens Parish Sale, which generously donated CHF 515. Olivia's sensitivity and determination really moved us, and we wanted to introduce her to you in this short video.

Thank you very much Olivia for your contribution, and also for the example you set for all of us, young and old!
