Progress of work at Sona
Here we are at the beginning of December, back at Sona where we can see the progress of the work: the foundations of the first building are almost complete, and the space for the second has been cleared. The sand and cement arrived by mule, and the stones were broken on the spot.
Water
The main purpose of the trip was to assess thewater supply with the help of Ignacio and Cédric. We found a source 1.5 km away that can be used in the long term. For the needs of the site, Ignacio will return in January to install a solar pumping from the river at 500 meters.
Distribution of school materials
This was an opportunity to distribute school material end of the year. Thanks to your generosity, the foundation will have been able to provide school materials since 2016 to 450 students who say thank you!
