Montreux supports our Foundation! " No man is a prophet in his own country "Fortunately, the adage is not always true, and this is the case for the Children in the Cloud Foundationfor the greatest happiness of the children of Sona! Registered in the trade register of Canton of Vaud on July 6, 2016, the Foundation is indeed domiciled in Montreux. It has since received support from the Municipality of Montreux to help set up and launch the project.
On the strength of our initial achievements and in particular the construction to begin in October 2018 (see our latest trip report april 2019), we renewed our request for financial support from the municipality. We were pleased to be notified by the letter below, a very significant strengthening of the City's support by a donation of CHF 10,000 !
On behalf of the Foundation and the entire population of Sona, as well as the local authorities, we would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Municipality of Montreux for their sensitivity to the project and the strength of their support!
A Foundation anchored in the Canton of Vaud!
Our Foundation is anchored in the culture of the Canton of Vaud and Montreux in particular. Moreover, the municipality of Montreux has renewed its support year after year and even increased it in 2020. 60% of the Foundation's resources come from Switzerland and in particular from the Canton of Vaud and Geneva.
